How to ensure that our products serve you well

Our toys and furniture will last lifetimes if treated properly. Here are a few guidelines to follow to make them last as long as possible and avoid any damage or injury.

Balance board

  • Make sure that there is a responsible adult supervising the child's first attempts to use the balance board. It is important to explain, particularly to young children, the intended use of the balance board, what potential risks it entails (crushed fingers, falls) and how to prevent them.

  • When using the board, pay attention to the child's footwear – ideally barefoot, or anti-slip socks or shoes.

  • Our balance board has been tested with loads of up to 130 kg. To avoid damaging or breaking the balance board, or possible injury, we do not recommend exceeding this capacity.

  • Place the balance board in a room with sufficient space around it, leaving necessary room when rocking.

  • Use the board on a flat, dry surface without any unevenness. We recommend placing a mat or carpet under the board so that it does not slip or damage the floor.A hard surface under the board may also cause scratches or other aesthetic blemishes to appear.

  • Protect the board from moisture and dirt. The balance board is designed for indoor use; do not expose the product to excessive humidity, rain, water, direct sunlight or temperatures below 10°C or above 50°C.

  • When using the board outside, make sure to choose a suitable location; do not leave the board in the rain or on a damp surface.

  • If the board gets dirty, clean it with a damp cloth (mild detergent can be used for heavy dirt) and then wipe it dry.

  • Persistent stains can only be cleaned by sanding, but only if the stain has not penetrated deeply into the wood fibres, as in a spill.

  • As with all activities, the parent or other supervising adult bears responsibility for any injuries or damage to property.
